Overview

Aaroha is a free AI personal trainer Android app that turns the phone's camera into a real-time exercise form tracker. It counts repetitions, scores technique, and provides spoken corrections to help users perform exercises safely and effectively. All pose tracking is processed directly on the device, meaning no video frames are uploaded to the cloud, which prioritizes user privacy.

Full Description ▼

The app supports a range of exercises including squats, push-ups, lunges, bicep curls, deadlifts, and planks. It monitors joint positions and alerts users to form issues such as knees caving in or back rounding, which can help prevent injury and improve workout quality over time.

Aaroha also includes hands-free voice coaching with three distinct coach styles: Strict, Friendly, and Calm. Users can interact using voice commands in English and Hindi, such as 'ruko' to pause, 'agla' to skip, and 'khatam' to stop, enabling a seamless workout experience without touching the phone.

Nutrition is another key feature, focusing on Indian food habits. The app includes a database of more than 200 home foods, street foods, and thalis, with calorie, protein, and macro information based on the Indian Food Composition Tables (IFCT) 2017.
