Overview

AI Image Detector is a multi-signal forensic screening tool that determines whether an image is AI-generated or real. It cross-checks four independent detection models—Sightengine GenAI, Winston AI, Was It AI, and the open-source SAFE model—using a published weighted-vote rule. Before model analysis, it checks for deterministic C2PA credentials and generator self-tags, which can override all other signals. The service provides graded conclusions (from AI-generated to real) and transparently reports any engine disagreements, never hiding conflict behind a single percentage. Users can upload JPEG, PNG, or WebP files up to 12MB, with batch processing for up to 50 images at once, generating a triage summary and CSV export. Each report costs 4 credits, with the first one free upon sign-up. The tool covers major AI image generators including Midjourney, DALL·E, Stable Diffusion, Flux, Google Imagen, Adobe Firefly, and Ideogram, and is updated monthly for new models.
