AstroChart
AstroChart is a free online astrocartography calculator that generates personalized maps showing planetary influences across the world based on an individual's birth data. Users input their birth date, time, and location, and the tool calculates where key astrological angles (Midheaven, Imum Coeli, Ascendant, Descendant) for each planet fall on Earth. The resulting map highlights locations where specific planetary energies are strongest, helping users explore potential destinations for career, relationships, and personal growth. The tool is based on the principles of astrocartography developed by astrologer Jim Lewis in the 1970s. It uses Swiss Ephemeris for accurate astronomical calculations, ensuring precise planetary positions. The interface allows users to view various planetary lines—such as Sun, Moon, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn—each with distinct influences. For instance, Sun lines are associated with vitality and recognition, while Venus lines relate to love and creativity. AstroChart provides detailed explanations of different line types (MC, IC, ASC, DSC) and their meanings, helping users interpret the map. Features include a user-friendly birth data entry form, optional name, timezone handling, and coordinate input for locations not found in the city database. The website also offers related tools like birth chart calculators and horoscopes, making it a comprehensive astrology resource.
