Overview

Caider is a macOS desktop application that turns GitHub issues into merged pull requests through a hands-off coding agent. It integrates with existing AI coding tools such as Claude Code and Google Antigravity, allowing users to leverage their current AI plans without additional inference costs. The entire workflow is managed within GitHub, so no new interface is required.

Full Description ▼

The process begins when a user files a GitHub issue and adds the "caider" label. The agent analyzes the repository on the user's Mac, posts a structured proposal including planned changes, open questions, and risks. After iterative discussion and approval in the issue thread, the agent implements the changes locally, runs configured tests, and opens a pull request. Change requests and inline comments trigger revision rounds, and approving the PR review auto-merges with squash.

Caider emphasizes security and privacy: execution runs on the user's own Mac, and code never leaves the machine. All errors are posted directly to the issue, with a retry option available. The tool is currently available for macOS and free during early access.
