Calculadora Alicia
Calculadora Alicia is a free online calculator that provides step-by-step solutions for arithmetic and basic math operations. It runs directly in the browser without requiring registration or downloads. The tool covers addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, percentages, prime factorization, greatest common divisor (GCD), least common multiple (LCM), and an interactive practice mode with scoring. It was created by mathematics teacher José Pol Lezcano to help his daughter, Alicia, understand math concepts beyond just getting the answer. The calculator displays each calculation step visually, including carry digits in addition, borrowing in subtraction, and fraction reduction. The prime factorization feature builds a factor tree, and the percentage module computes percentage of a number, what percent one number is of another, and percentage change. The practice mode generates randomized questions with selectable difficulty and topic, tracks correct/incorrect answers, and provides immediate feedback. Designed for students, teachers, and professionals, Calculadora Alicia aims to bridge the gap between rote calculation and genuine comprehension. Its interface is available in Spanish, with clear navigation to dedicated sections for algebra and time calculations. The tool emphasizes accessibility and ease of use, making it suitable for elementary school children learning basic arithmetic as well as adults needing quick daily calculations.
