Overview

ClaimHit is a patent-to-market intelligence platform that helps patent owners, legal teams, and licensing professionals quickly discover which companies are using or potentially infringing their patented technology. By entering a patent number from any major office (US, EP, WO, etc.), users can obtain a list of candidate products or companies within approximately 90 seconds. The platform employs a multi-stage pipeline that combines several AI models, live web and neural search, forward citations, and domain-specific registries (such as component distributors, FDA records, software directories) to propose candidates, then cross-checks each against real-world evidence. This ensures results are grounded in verifiable sources rather than relying on model confidence alone.

Full Description ▼

Beyond simple discovery, ClaimHit provides element-by-element claim charts that map each patent claim limitation to a target product, complete with supporting evidence—serving as a foundation for licensing or litigation discussions. It also offers standards essential patent (SEP) analysis to determine if a patent reads on mandatory provisions of technical standards. The platform supports continuous monitoring with configurable re-run cadences (daily to quarterly) and email alerts for new matches, making it suitable for ongoing portfolio management.

ClaimHit includes team workspace features with shared credit pools and search histories, enabling collaboration among IP teams. Additionally, it can be integrated with AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT via an MCP server, allowing users to run searches and retrieve past scans through natural language commands. The service prioritizes confidentiality, treating each search context as isolated and private—never using data for AI training.

Currently in beta, access is invitation-only, and pricing operates on a credit model where each search or monitoring re-run consumes credits. The platform is designed for a range of stakeholders including patent owners, in-house counsel, litigators, licensing professionals, brokers, funders, and university technology transfer offices.
