Overview

Coil is an AI agentic trading system that provides disciplined, rule-based long-only trading of S&P 500 and Nasdaq-100 stocks. It is not a standalone trading bot but a downloadable packet containing a trading engine, scanner, and dashboard designed to work with an AI agent such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex CLI, or Gemini CLI. The system ranks market leaders, buys them when they are coiled at support, sizes positions by conviction, exits by rule, and holds cash when nothing qualifies.

Full Description ▼

Coil is delivered as a one-time $49 purchase and runs locally on Mac or Windows with Python 3.9+. It integrates with Robinhood agentic accounts and any broker offering an equivalent MCP. User API keys and funds remain on their own machine and brokerage account; live trading is off by default and can be armed after reviewing the rules. A free Alpaca market-data key powers market-wide scans, while trading data uses the broker connection. The system requires the machine to be awake during market hours.

The vendor publishes forward-return audits and a research replay covering 2017–2026, claiming +638% vs SPY +282% and 9 of 10 positive years with lower drawdown, plus live session results. Coil also offers a hosted scanner subscription ($12/month) and a free delayed MCP server with pay-per-read API for agent builders.
