Confluo is a universal AI memory platform designed to preserve project context across multiple AI assistants.

Use Cases ▼
01

Carry project context from Claude to ChatGPT without re-explanations

02

Build a searchable memory of decisions, bugs, and architecture across AI sessions

03

Use Switch Context to generate an AI-optimized project brief for any model

04

Let Claude autonomously access project memory via the Confluo MCP connector

05

Maintain consistent context across multiple AI coding assistants

06

Capture relevant conversation snippets using the Chrome extension

07

Onboard to a new AI tool with full project history already loaded

What Problem It Solves ▼

When developers switch between AI tools, all project context is lost, forcing them to re-explain codebases, decisions, and history from scratch in every new conversation. Confluo solves this by acting as a shared, persistent memory layer above all AI tools, capturing and organizing project knowledge from multiple sources and delivering it back to any AI on demand.

Key Features ▼
✓

Works across multiple AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini upcoming)

✓

MCP connector enables autonomous context retrieval in Claude

✓

Automatically extracts structured knowledge rather than raw transcripts

✓

Free tier available with no credit card and no expiration

✓

Switch Context provides instant full-project briefs

Overview

Confluo is a universal AI memory platform designed to preserve project context across multiple AI assistants. It captures conversations from tools like Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini, then extracts structured knowledge such as decisions, bugs, code snippets, and architecture facts into a searchable memory timeline. This allows users to retrieve relevant context at any time and share it with any AI model, eliminating the repetitive need to re-explain projects when switching between assistants. Confluo provides two primary delivery mechanisms: Switch Context, which generates a concise project brief that can be pasted into any AI, and confluo-mcp, a Model Context Protocol connector that enables Claude to autonomously read and save memories mid-conversation. The platform is created by indie builder Shashank Shekhar under Navtaar Labs and is positioned as an AI-tool-agnostic memory layer. It currently supports Claude and ChatGPT, with Gemini, Grok, Perplexity, and Cursor planned for release. Confluo offers a free tier with three projects and 50 memory blocks per project, no credit card required, and paid plans starting at $5 per month.
