Overview

dFrame is an open-source Platform as a Service (PaaS) solution designed to create business web applications with minimal coding. It operates by connecting to a MySQL database, where the entire data structure is normalized and managed. In No Code mode, users define objects and fields through a design screen, and dFrame automatically generates a functional front-end with CRUD operations, list views, pagination, and export to PDF or CSV. For Low Code needs, custom logic can be added via MySQL Procedures, Views, Functions, or Triggers, enabling complex business rules without traditional procedural programming. Each application is encapsulated in its own database schema, allowing multiple independent or data-sharing apps to coexist on the same instance. dFrame also supports multilingual interfaces and can serve as the front-end for databases generated by AI tools like Chat2DB, accelerating the development cycle. The source code is freely available on GitHub, encouraging community adoption and self-hosted deployment.
