Face Lookup
Face Lookup is a web-based reverse face search engine that allows users to upload a photo of a face and discover where that face appears across the internet. It scans publicly available pages on a wide range of social media platforms, dating apps, professional networks, and other websites, identifying instances of the same face even if associated with different names, ages, or locations. The service is designed to deliver results in under a minute, requiring no account to start a search. By cross-referencing a facial image against its indexed database, Face Lookup helps individuals verify the authenticity of online profiles, detect reused or stolen photos, and uncover potential catfishing or identity misrepresentation. It supports an extensive list of platforms including Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and many others, making it a comprehensive tool for identity verification. Face Lookup emphasizes user privacy and safety, particularly for online daters, but also for professionals, content creators, and anyone concerned about their digital footprint. While the core search functionality begins without registration, full access to features and detailed reports may require a subscription, though exact pricing tiers are not publicly detailed on the homepage. The tool operates by matching uploaded facial features against its proprietary database of indexed public web images. It is positioned as a consumer-friendly solution for personal online identity and reputation management, distinct from enterprise-grade or law enforcement-focused facial recognition systems.
