Overview

Gleam is an intelligent energy operating system that connects your utility account, electric vehicle (EV), solar panels, and battery into a unified dashboard. By integrating real-time data from these sources and analyzing utility bills, it continuously uncovers personalized opportunities to lower your energy costs. The platform works across the United States, with full rate data for 27 utilities covering about 65% of residential solar and EV customers, and estimated rates for all others.

Full Description ▼

Key features include time-of-use rate optimization to identify the cheapest times for EV charging and appliance use, live solar production tracking with outage alerts, real-time EV battery and charging data via Smartcar, and automated utility bill analysis to extract hidden savings. Users can model hypothetical additions like solar panels or a battery to see their financial impact before committing, and receive storm and grid alerts to pre-charge batteries ahead of severe weather.

Gleam is designed for households with or without existing energy assets. The free tier offers essential insights and one bill analysis, while the Pro plan ($12/month) unlocks live EV and solar data, exact savings calculations, peak rate warnings, and unlimited simulations and chat history. Setup takes under five minutes by linking accounts and uploading a bill.
