Overview

heyclicky is a screen-aware AI assistant that lives on your Mac, designed to help you learn, get unstuck, and automate tasks. The app goes beyond traditional chat interfaces by actively interpreting visual context, making it feel like a little buddy who can teach you anything and draw explanations.

Full Description ▼

The project is built around the idea that frontier AI models are powerful but trapped in uninspired chat interfaces and clunky terminals. heyclicky aims to create the AI interface for the next billion people, leveraging the same models everyone has access to but with a more approachable and fun experience. The current version is 100% free, requires macOS Sonoma 14.2 or higher, and is available as a direct download from GitHub releases.

In addition to instructional support, heyclicky can run agents while you're away, allowing it to automate repetitive or time-consuming tasks on your computer. It also has a drawing capability, enabling it to illustrate concepts visually. The project is still early-stage and part of the buildspace ecosystem, with the team actively seeking feedback from users to shape its evolution.
