NAEOS is an open-source engineering runtime that reads YAML or JSON specifications and automates the entire software lifecycle.

Use Cases ▼
01

Generate full‑stack microservice projects from a YAML spec

02

Create CI/CD pipeline configurations for multi‑language services

03

Produce Docker and Kubernetes deployment manifests automatically

04

Export AI context bundles for Copilot, Claude, Cursor, and other assistants

05

Enforce architecture rules and compliance policies before code ships

06

Publish and reuse industry‑specific project profiles and plugins

07

Onboard new developers with instant, consistent project setups

What Problem It Solves ▼

Manually scaffolding, configuring, and maintaining consistent project structures across multiple languages, frameworks, and AI coding assistants is error‑prone and time‑consuming. NAEOS eliminates this boilerplate by using a single specification to generate all necessary artifacts, from source code to deployment manifests and AI context, accelerating development and enforcing architectural standards.

Key Features ▼
✓

Single source of truth from specification to production

✓

Multi‑language code generation (Go, TypeScript, Python, Java, Rust)

✓

Built‑in AI context generation for popular coding assistants

✓

Extensible plugin architecture and reusable profiles

✓

Governance engine with policy enforcement and audit trails

Overview

NAEOS is an open-source engineering runtime that reads YAML or JSON specifications and automates the entire software lifecycle. It builds a canonical internal model called NEIR, then generates production‑grade code in Go, TypeScript, Python, Java, and Rust, along with Dockerfiles, Kubernetes manifests, CI/CD pipeline configurations, API documentation, and AI instruction bundles for assistants like Copilot and Claude. A single `naeos run` command replaces repetitive scaffolding tasks, ensuring consistency across languages and environments. NAEOS enforces architecture policies during generation through a built‑in governance engine with RBAC and audit trails. It also provides a marketplace for sharing industry profiles (SaaS, FinTech, Healthcare, etc.) and plugins, enabling teams to start from battle‑tested templates. The tool is extensible via a plugin system that hooks into its nine‑stage DAG pipeline, allowing custom transformations and integrations.
