Nitur is a privacy-first web analytics service that records page views, referrers, countries, and custom events in aggregate without using cookies, logging IP addresses, or fingerprinting visitors.

Use Cases ▼
01

Track page views and referrers for a website without a cookie consent banner

02

Count custom events with properties (e.g., signup by plan)

03

Let coding agents query analytics via MCP server during development

04

Generate privacy-compliant country and browser breakdown reports

05

Export all analytics data as a single JSON file for further processing

06

Monitor traffic from specific referring domains without IP logs

What Problem It Solves ▼

Nitur solves the challenge of collecting website usage analytics while complying with strict privacy regulations like GDPR. Traditional analytics tools require cookies, IP logging, or fingerprinting, which trigger consent banners, cookie policies, and legal overhead. By design, Nitur collects only aggregate, non-identifying metrics, so site owners get essential traffic insights without privacy risks or missing data from visitors who decline tracking.

Key Features ▼
✓

No cookies, IP logging, or fingerprinting — truly privacy-first by design

✓

Negligible performance impact with 2.2 KB gzipped script

✓

Built-in MCP server enables AI coding agents to create and query analytics

✓

Exports all collected data as one JSON file

✓

Simple subscription model; no data selling or ad network sharing

Overview

Nitur is a privacy-first web analytics service that records page views, referrers, countries, and custom events in aggregate without using cookies, logging IP addresses, or fingerprinting visitors. It is designed to eliminate the need for consent banners, cookie policies, and data processing agreements. The service keeps only minimal, non-identifying data such as path, referring domain, browser family, operating system, device type, country, and calendar day.

Full Description ▼

The architecture is anonymous by construction: IP addresses are resolved to country on the server using an offline table and then discarded; User-Agent strings are bucketed into browser and OS families and then discarded; visitor counts are derived from a secret that is destroyed nightly, preventing cross-day or cross-site tracking. No visitor identifier is ever stored, and all metrics are aggregated into daily totals.

Nitur provides a lightweight script tag (2.2 KB gzipped) for easy installation, a REST API, and an MCP server that lets AI coding agents such as Claude Code or Cursor create projects and query analytics directly. All collected data can be exported as a single JSON file, and the business model is subscription-based with no data selling or ad network sharing.
