Pytorch
PyTorch is a Python package that provides two high-level features: tensor computation with strong GPU acceleration and deep neural networks built on a tape-based autograd system. It is designed to be deeply integrated into Python and allows users to write new neural network layers in Python itself, using favorite libraries and packages such as Cython and Numba. PyTorch has minimal framework overhead and integrates acceleration libraries such as Intel MKL and NVIDIA to maximize speed. It is quite fast, whether running small or large neural networks, and has extremely efficient memory usage compared to Torch or some of the alternatives. PyTorch provides a wide variety of tensor routines to accelerate and fit scientific computation needs, such as slicing, indexing, mathematical operations, linear algebra, and reductions. It also has a unique way of building neural networks, using and replaying a tape recorder, which allows users to change the way their network behaves arbitrarily with zero lag or overhead.

Problem solved
PyTorch solves the problem of providing a flexible and efficient way to build and train deep learning models. It is designed to be easy to use and provides a dynamic computation graph, which allows users to change the way their network behaves arbitrarily with zero lag or overhead. This makes it ideal for rapid prototyping and research, as well as for building and training large-scale deep learning models. PyTorch also provides a wide range of pre-built functions and tools, making it easier for users to build and train their models.
