Overview

RemoteX is a cross-platform AI-powered server operations client that lets users chat with their servers from desktop or mobile. It supports connections to SSH servers, Docker hosts, Kubernetes clusters, databases (Postgres, MySQL, SQLite, Redis), and approved local folders, unifying investigation into a single thread.

Full Description ▼

The tool uses an agent loop that checks server health, queries databases, reads logs and files, and examines Docker and Kubernetes state. It shows evidence and proposed commands, and only runs actions after explicit user approval, with a safety classifier enforcing read-only by default.

RemoteX supports bring-your-own AI via 14 providers (including Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini, Copilot, OpenRouter, xAI, DeepSeek, Mistral, Vercel, Bedrock, Ollama, and LM Studio) and uses direct device-to-provider communication without proxying through RemoteX. It is available on Mac, Linux, Windows (preview), iPhone, and Android, with a freemium pricing model.
