Overview

StareBrain is an in-development natural language command interface for Android phones. It aims to allow users to "say it once" and have the phone perform tasks such as sending texts, booking events, placing calls, controlling device settings, and launching apps. The interface is designed to interpret plain-language requests, show a confirmation of the intended action, and only execute after explicit user approval.

Full Description ▼

The tool is built around a simple interaction model: the user speaks or types a request in natural language, StareBrain parses the intent and translates it into a structured action, displays a plain-language confirmation, and then executes the action upon approval. The system is also being designed to handle multi-step agentic workflows, such as managing schedule conflicts or running a morning routine that chains several actions together. These advanced behaviors are still in progress and not yet live.

StareBrain emphasizes user control and privacy. It is designed to stay within permissions explicitly granted by the user, and those permissions can be revoked at any time. The history of commands is planned to be encrypted and stored on-device for seven days. The product is currently in development, with a waitlist for early access, and is intended to be free. No production metrics or release date have been published.
