SwipeList
SwipeList is a mobile and web application designed as a digital household assistant, consolidating grocery shopping, recipe management, weekly meal planning, pantry inventory, and family scheduling into one platform. It supports real-time list sharing, in-list chat, and multiple input methods such as voice, photo, and barcode scanning, plus recipe URL import that auto-populates ingredients. The app leverages AI for several features: generating recipes from descriptions, extracting recipes from photos or URLs, recognizing pantry items from photos, suggesting recipes based on available ingredients, and planning a full week of meals respecting dietary preferences and allergies. It also estimates shopping costs and alerts users about expiring food. Beyond shopping and cooking, SwipeList includes a shared family calendar with reminders, a group chat, waste collection schedule integration, local deals and loyalty card storage, offline mode, home screen widget, achievements, and statistics. It is available in 20 languages and is free, DSGVO-compliant, and made in Germany.
