Overview

UnixTime is a native macOS menu bar app that converts Unix timestamps (epoch time) to human-readable dates and vice versa with a single click. It automatically detects whether the clipboard contains a timestamp or a date, performs the conversion, and copies the result back to the clipboard—no manual typing or browser tabs required.

Full Description ▼

The app supports over nine output formats, including seconds, milliseconds, microseconds, nanoseconds, ISO 8601, and various local date representations. It offers a right-click panel to view all formats at once, a date generator for any point in time with timezone support, unlimited custom formats, and a conversion history that shows the source application.

UnixTime is built with Swift for efficiency and privacy: it runs fully offline, never collects data, and does not require an account. It is available as a one-time purchase on the Mac App Store with no subscriptions or in-app purchases. The interface follows macOS design conventions, supports light and dark modes, and is localized in 12 languages.
