Your entries remain on your device, and no account or cloud sync is required. The app works in four steps: write or speak an entry, pick the voices to consult, read or listen to their reflections, and return to past sessions whenever you like. Voice memos are transcribed locally, and audio responses are generated on-device. Council is designed for quiet, focused introspection, with no streaks, badges, or unsolicited advice. Council offers three free sessions per month, with a subscription unlocking unlimited sessions, up to six active voices, and customization options like voice naming and color styling. When a voice is summoned, only that single entry is sent to a proxy server and discarded after generating replies, ensuring privacy. All data stays on your phone, and there are no ads.
