Overview

Cyanote is a local-first, all-in-one productivity app for macOS that combines notes, to-dos, a calendar, habit tracking, routines with Pomodoro, and a system-wide clipboard manager in a single window. It is a one-time purchase of $10 with free updates, no account, no sync service, and no subscription. The app runs natively on macOS 12 or later, with a Windows version announced as coming soon.

Full Description ▼

Notes support slash commands, tables, sub-pages, and wiki-links. Tasks can be organized with priorities, due dates, reminders, and a Kanban board. The calendar brings together events, due tasks, and habits in one view. Habit tracking shows streaks and a four-week grid, while routines provide timed checklists and a focus timer. The clipboard manager keeps unlimited copy history accessible from any app via a global hotkey, with pinned snippets and no data leaving the Mac.

All data is stored locally in a single SQLite database under ~/Library/Application Support/. There is no account to create and no cloud sync. Cyanote includes fifteen built-in themes plus a custom palette editor and offers full-text instant search across notes. The pricing model is a single $10 payment that covers the current Mac version and the upcoming Windows version.
