LandLordStreet
LandLordStreet is a web-based platform that lets users purchase pixels on a single living map of the Internet. Each pixel costs $1, and buyers must acquire at least 100 pixels (forming a 10×10 parcel) for $100. The parcel grows as more pixels are bought, allowing users to establish a larger visual presence. Users can customize their parcel by uploading an image, animation, or video (JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, MP4, or WebM up to 10MB). They can choose to keep the original aspect ratio or stretch the media to fill the parcel, and optionally attach a hyperlink to make the space clickable. LandLordStreet is inspired by the Million Dollar Homepage, launched 20 years earlier, but aims to be a live, evolving version. The project is divided into phases: Phase 1 allows direct purchase of pixels from LandLordStreet; Phase 2 will enable owners to trade their space with others once all pixels are sold out. The platform includes account management, login, and parcel customization features.
