Semantica
Semantica is an open-source, graph-native infrastructure designed to provide context and accountability for AI systems. It enables developers to build AI applications on top of a flexible graph data model, representing entities, relationships, and provenance as first-class citizens. This approach facilitates traceability, explainability, and integration with existing knowledge graphs and data sources. The project aims to address the 'black box' problem in AI by offering a substrate where decisions, data lineage, and model interactions are explicitly modeled and queryable. By leveraging graph technology, Semantica can power retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) with rich context, audit trails for compliance, and dynamic knowledge bases for intelligent agents. As an infrastructure layer, Semantica is designed to be modular and extensible, allowing developers to connect it with LLMs, vector stores, and other AI components. It is available on GitHub under the Semantica AGI organization, encouraging community contributions and adoption.
