Overview

Vehla is a comprehensive command center for macOS that unifies application launching, file search, AI-powered actions, and system utilities into a single keyboard-driven interface. It offers a command palette activated by ⌥+Space, providing instant access to apps, files, clipboard history, and over 170 built-in commands including 73 AI actions for text transformation, code explanation, email drafting, and more. The app integrates deeply with macOS, featuring a radial window snapping utility (Snap Wheel), menu bar management (BarKeep), temporary file parking (Shelf), a markdown notes app with Excalidraw canvas and Kanban board, and an emoji picker. AI capabilities can run entirely on-device using models like Gemma 4, Ollama, or LM Studio, or through user-provided cloud API keys for services such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google Gemini. A local search index called Recall lets users query their notes, clipboard history, and selected folders, with answers citing source passages. Vehla also supports MCP servers for extending functionality, includes an app uninstaller (Purge) to remove leftovers, and provides Dictation with Flow. It is a one-time purchase for Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 15.0 or later.
